Stir Fry Noodles and Rice submitted by DarkWolf the Ravager
1 package Ramen noodles (chicken) 1 cup plain white rice 1 can tomatoes (any kind) 1 can veggie of choice 1 can chicken (noodle if preferred) soup 1 can chicken
1/2 tsp. garlic pepper 1/2 tsp. chili pepper 1/2 tsp. Creole pepper (optional) 1 bay leaf (optional) 1 or 2 T oil
Drain water in tomatoes, chicken and veggie of choice. Use to cook the rice and noodles in a fairly good sized sauce pot with the tomatoes and spices. Make sure you have enough liquid for
the rice and noodles. While rice/noodles are cooking, brown the chicken a little bit on a skillet. (so far, this should take no more than 10 minutes, however check the noodle and rice packaging for
appropriate cooking times, and go with the longer time of the two.
Remove the bay leaf when the water is pretty well absorbed. Put the rice/noodle/tomato mix on the chicken, and pour the veggies in. Heat every thing up well.
"And it's really good with those little packets of soy/teriyaki sauce too!"
Sally's comments: You can do this in one pan by cooking the rice and noodles in a deep skillet. When they are done, push them to the sides of the pan. leaving a bare spot in the middle. Saute the chicken
in the oil and then stir it all up.
